Maddie and Quintin decided to postpone the wedding for July of 2020, when we all assumed this COVID thing would just pass in a month or so…(ha!) They planned and scheduled for July 3rd…in late June of 2020, Quintin’s mom called and said he was on a plane heading back to Florida and was given only hours notice to return to base. Thus, their re-planned and re-scheduled wedding was postponed yet again. Once their July 2020 plans were denied by the Military, they attempted to reschedule for the end of 2020 or January 2021. Unfortunately, the Military kept Quinton in Florida and was denied travel back home.
Fast forward to June of 2021, they were finally given the okay from the Military to schedule for late summer- August of of 2021 with only a few weeks notice to plan their wedding again! Maddie and Quintin had already hired all of their vendors for the original May 2020 date. Fortunately, they hired all the best and professional vendors who held numerous dates for them and helped them through the process. Their wedding was basically planned 3 times, imagine planning the same wedding 3 times! Each time a new wedding date was proposed, each vendor had to be contacted to verify their schedule was open. But the perfect summer Marine wedding was in store!
It wasn’t easy, but it was all worth the wait! Their summer time August wedding was flawless thanks to their patience, and all the vendors who worked tirelessly to reschedule and hold dates for them to help them have the best day ever. A big thanks to our Military couples who some times jump through hoops to get married!
