Once you’ve got you major vendors booked for you wedding, choosing your color palette really sets the tone for your big day. You may have had your wedding colors picked out for years, but it’s always smart to go with something that matches the look and vibes of your wedding venue.
And if your wedding venue has a stunning outdoor landscape with the beautiful Texas Hill Country in the background, an emerald green wedding is the perfect fit. That’s why we were so enamored with Ashley & Jake’s Kendall Point August wedding. We might be biased but it was truly a vision!
The beauty of having an emerald green wedding is this rich, natural hue is perfect for any season since the green blends naturally with any season’s foliage.
Check out this Kendall Point wedding put together by a wonderful team of vendors and picture your big day happening at Kendall Point someday soon!
Another COVID postponed wedding celebrating Ashley and Jake!
The adorable couple was supposed to get married in late April of 2020, but that didn’t happen. Do we need to talk about why?! In case you forgot, we were in a complete lock-down/shutdown/shelter in place. But it didn’t stop Ashley and Jake from getting married on their scheduled date. These two held the most precious ceremony at their family ranch in an intimate setting because they couldn’t wait to say “I do.”
Knowing and planning for the big celebration that was rescheduled for August, they wanted to officially celebrate their love for each other in April while they counted down the days until August. I especially love the photo of Jake watching his bride walk down the aisle, so sweet!
Fortunately, the gorgeous Kendall Point landscape and bright blue sky was as lovely in August as it would’ve been in April. And the added heat wasn’t a concern either because for your summer wedding at Kendall Point, we let you control the thermostat without incurring extra costs.
Ashley and Jake’s emerald green wedding was truly elegant and perfect in every way. It included vibrant emerald green accents, white flowers with loose greenery, velvet runners, farm tables, and clean whites.
The Kendall Point gazebo was the site of their outdoor ceremony and it was adorned with simple white flowers and green accents that really let the bride and groom shine during their vows.
The deep green and bold white blended perfectly with Kendall Point’s clean white walls making everything look effortlessly chic.
For safekeeping, the wedding rings were kept in classic, soft velvet emerald green ring boxes, and gold candle sticks and tall centerpiece stands added even more romance to the day.
The biggest pop of green was on Ashley’s bridesmaids.
The emerald green bridesmaids dresses were in a perfect shade that carried through to the reception décor and beautifully complemented the floral designs lining the staircase. Touch of Whimsy (her planner and florist) always has stunning floral design!
A touch we always love to see, each of Ashley’s four bridesmaids wore a different dress in the same shade and carried a bouquet of greenery to make Ashley’s stunning wedding gown pop even more.
